How to Reduce your Exposure to HIV/AIDS

In the field of public health, risk reduction is an approach used to address and reduce the risks factors facing an individual, a family, a group, or a community through counseling, education, and promotional activities.

C.A.R.E. currently provides risk reduction counseling and educational activities through its C.A.R.E. Link program.  The counseling activities utilize the harm reduction approach to behavior change, and are free to all HIV negative and positive individuals who are at risk of contracting or transmitting HIV and other STDs.  If you are interested in receiving risk reduction counseling, please contact the C.A.R.E.
