C.A.R.E. is always in need of volunteers.  There are two ways to volunteer at CARE:

• On-going Volunteers:  Volunteers are always needed for general office assistance and food bank services.  These volunteers must undergo a volunteer orientation through St. Mary Medical Center, which includes a general background check and training on issues related to confidentiality. • Special Events Volunteers:  Volunteers are always needed for special events such as our annual Long Beach Triathlon, Client Holiday Party, AIDS Walk Team, Client Picnic, and other events.  These events utilize a large number of volunteers and do not require any orientation or training.
